Good friends are hard to find.

We all want someone with whom we can relate. And good friends are hard to find. But we really lucked out when Jack got a friend with some super cool parents. And so started Jose and Joe's Man Date with the boys. Every Friday, they get together and do... I don't know what they do. I'm just glad are boys are alive with full bellies at the end of the day. It's my camera that catches the real story.

We've noticed some obsessive traits in Jack lately. He likes all the doors closed upstairs. Daddy closes the doors to keep the light out when he sleeps during the day, and Jack likes them closed. He likes to put my shoes away in the closet on the rack. He likes the chairs tucked under the table. And if he picks a flower, he wants it to put itself back together.

And if he can't put it back together, then he needs to find some way to discard it. Maybe someone will eat it.

The great thing about having girlfriends, is that we can dig through each others closets for the perfect top to our skinny jeans, or that suave jacket for our job interview. Guys are simple. They might swap hats.

And to prove that you got a great friend. You gotta show it off in public. They say it's not very manly if you hold hands with another guy. There is an exception though. If you are a super cute toddler crossing the street and remember your rules: hold hands when crossing the street.

The cool thing about seeing your little with another, is seeing how much personality they have. They show us what we've taught them. They display their manners, their influence, their kindness, their meanness, their shyness, their boldness. We see them how they are and learn more about who they might be one day.

And I can only take a wild guess at who is going get caught getting into mischief and who is going to flee the seen when mischief comes about.
